After reading "1001 Dumbest Things Ever Said" I was apprehensive about perusing this book. However, there's some nuggets here. Steven D. Price has redeemed himself. ( )

Some statements are smarter than others in 1001 Smartest Things Ever Said. Be the judge yourself and pick it up some day for a quick read that you'll go back to again and again. ( )

"I shall tell you a great secret, my friend. Do not wait for the last judgement, it takes place every day." - Albert Camus. Just a sample of the thought provoking quotes of some of the finest minds of our time from Euripides to Einstein. No need to plow through all the witty but unenlightening bon mot of Suzy Parker or Madonna because this author separated the wheat from the chaff for we, the unwashed. I particularly liked Winston Churchill's "It is a good thing for an uneducated man (sic) to read books of quotations." Hey! That's me. That's most all of us. ( )
