EPISTLE. Rom. xii. 6.

RETHREN; Having different gifts, according to the grace that is given us, whether prophecy according to the measure of faith, or ministry in ministering, or he that instructeth in teaching, or he that exhorteth in exhortation, or he that giveth in simplicity, he that ruleth in solicitude, or he that sheweth compassion in chearfulness. Let love be without dissimulation. Hating that which is evil, keeping close to that which is good. Be affected to one another with a brotherly love, being forward to give respect to one another; not slothful in your charge; but zealous in spirit; serving the Lord rejoicing in hope: patient in tribulation: fervent in prayer contributing to the necessities of the saints, loving hospitality. COLLECT. Deus, qui unigenitum. O God, who didst appoint thy only begotten Son the Saviour of mankind, and commandest that his name should be called. Jesus: mercifully grant, that we who venerate his holy name on earth, may also enjoy his sight in heaven. Thro' the same.

N those days: Peter being filled with the Holy

Elders. Since we are this day tried for a good deed done to a lame man, by which he hath been made whole; be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel; that, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, this man now standeth whole before you. This is the stone, that was rejected by you the builders, which is now made the chief corner-stone; and there is no salvation in any other. For neither is there any other name under heaven, given unto men, whereby we must be saved.
