When the king heard of Elisha's sickness, he came to visit unto them in all that which they called upon him for, (Deut. 4.7,) him, and to receive his dying counsel and blessing; and it was and so he was here. Though ho might justly have rejected the no disparagement to him, though a king, thus to honour one prayer, as an abomination to him, yet the Lord hearkened unto whom God honoured.
