ond nyni a gofiwn Enw yr Arglwydd ein Duw.

8 Hwy a gwympasant, ac a syrthiasant; ond nyni a gyfodasom, ac a safasom.

9 Achub, Arglwydd: gwrandawed y Brenhin arnom yn y dydd y llefom.

Psal. xxi. Domine, in virtute tua.

we will remember the Name of the Lord our God.

8 They are brought down, and fallen but we are risen, and stand upright.

9 Save, Lord, and hear us, O King of heaven when we call upon thee.

ARGLWYDD, yn dy nerthy Th

llawenycha'r Brenhin: ac yn dy iachawdwriaeth di mor ddirfawr yr ymhyfryda !

2 Deisyfiad ei galon a roddaist iddo; a dymuniad ei wefusau nis gommeddaist.

3 Canys achubaist ei flaen ef â bendithion daioni: gosodaist ar ei ben ef goron o aur coeth.

4 Gofynodd oes gennyt, a rhoddaist iddo: ïe, hir oes, byth ac yn dragywydd.

5 Mawr yw ei ogoniant yn dy iachawdwriaeth: gosodaist arno ogoniant a phryd-ferthwch.

6 Canys gwnaethost ef yn fendithion yn dragywyddol; llawenychaist ef à llawenydd â'th wynebpryd.

7 O herwydd bod y Brenhin yn ymddiried yn yr Arglwydd, a thrwy drugaredd y Goruchaf nid ysgogir ef.

8 Dy law a gaiff afael ar dy holl elynion dy ddeheulaw a gaiff afael ar dy gaseion.

9 Ti a'u gwnai hwynt fel ffwrn danllyd yn amser dy lid: yr Arglwydd yn ei ddigllonedd a'u llwnge hwynt, a'r tân a'u hysa hwynt.

10 Eu ffrwyth hwynt a ddinystri di oddiar y ddaear, a'u had o blith meibion dynion.

11 Canys bwriadasant ddrwg i'th erbyn meddyliasant amcan, heb allu o honynt ei gwblhâu.

12 Am hynny y gwnei iddynt

:

Psal. xxi. Domine, in virtute tua. HE King shall rejoice in thy strength, O Lord: exceeding glad shall he be of thy salvation.

2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire: and hast not denied him the request of his lips.

3 For thou shalt prevent him with the blessings of goodness: and shalt set a crown of pure gold upon his head.

4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest him a long life: even for ever and ever.

5 His honour is great in thy salvation: glory and great worship shalt thou lay upon him.

6 For thou shalt give him. everlasting felicity: and make him glad with the joy of thy

countenance.

7 And why? because the King putteth his trust in the Lord: and in the mercy of the most Highest he shall not miscarry.

8 All thine enemies shall feel

thy hand: thy right hand shall find out them that hate thee.

9 Thou shalt make them like a fiery oven in time of thy wrath: the Lord shall destroy them in his displeasure, and the fire shall consume them.

10 Their fruit shalt thou root out of the earth: and their seed from among the children of men.

11 For they intended mischief against thee: and imagined such a device as they are not able to perform.

12 Therefore shalt thou put

droi eu cefnau: ar dy linynnau y parottôi di saethau yn erbyn eu hwynebau.

13 Ymddyrcha, Arglwydd, yn dy nerth: canwn, a chanmolwn dy gadernid.

PRYDNHAWNOL WEDDI.
Psal. xxii. Deus, Deus meus.

FY Nuw, fy Nuw, paham y'm gwrthodaist? paham yr ydwyt mor bell oddiwrth fy iachawdwriaeth, a geiriau fy llefain?

2 Fy Nuw, llefain yr ydwyf y dydd, ac ni wrandewi; y nos hefyd, ac nid oes osteg i mi.

3 Ond tydi wyt sanctaidd, O dydi yr hwn wyt yn cyfanneddu ym moliant Israel.

4 Ein tadau a obeithiasant ynot: gobeithiasant, a gwaredaist hwynt.

5 Arnat ti y llefasant, ac achubwyd hwynt: ynot yr ymddiriedasant, ac nis gwaradwyddwyd hwynt.

6 A minnau, pryf ydwyf, ac nid gwr; gwarthrudd dynion, a dirmyg y bobl.

7 Pawb a'r a'm gwelant, a'm gwatwarant : llaesant wefl, ysgydwant ben, gan ddywedyd,

8 Ymddiriedodd yn yr Arglwydd; gwareded ef: achubed ef, gan ei fod yn dda ganddo.

9 Canys ti a'm tynnaist o'r groth: gwnaethost i mi obeithio pan oeddwn ar fronau fy

mam.

10 Arnat ti y'm bwriwyd o'r bru o groth fy mam fy Nuw ydwyt.

11 Nac ymbellhâ oddiwrthyf; o herwydd cyfyngder sydd agos: canys nid oes cynnorthwywr.

them to flight and the strings of thy bow shalt thou make ready against the face of them.

13 Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength : so will we sing, and praise thy power.

EVENING PRAYER.
Psal. xxii. Deus, Deus meus.

MY God, my God, look upon me; why hast thou forsaken me and art so far from my health, and from the words of my complaint?

2 O my God, I cry in the day-time, but thou hearest not: and in the night-season also I take no rest.

3 And thou continuest holy : O thou worship of Israel.

4 Our fathers hoped in thee: they trusted in thee, and thou didst deliver them.

5 They called upon thee, and were holpen they put their trust in thee, and were not confounded.

6 But as for me, I am a worm, and no man a very scorn of men, and the out-cast of the people.

7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out their lips, and shake their heads, saying,

8 He trusted in God, that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, if he will have him.

9 But thou art he that took me out of my mother's womb : thou wast my hope, when I hanged yet upon my mother's

breasts.

10 I have been left unto thee ever since I was born: thou art my God even from my mother's womb.

11 O go not from me, for trouble is hard at hand and there is none to help me.

12 Teirw lawer a'm cylchynasant gwrdd deirw Basan a'm hamgylchasant.

13 Agorasant arnaf eu genau, fel llew rheibus a rhuadwy.

14 Fel dwfr y'm tywalltwyd, a'm hesgyrn of a ymwahanasant: fy nghalon sydd fel cwyr; hi a doddodd y'nghanol fy mherfedd.

15 Fy nerth a wywodd fel priddlestr; a'm tafod a lynodd wrth daflod fy ngenau : ac i lwch angau y'm dygaist.

16 Canys cwn a'm cylchynasant; cynnulleidfa'r drygionus a'm hamgylchasant: trywanasant fy nwylaw a'm traed.

17 Gallaf gyfrif fy holl esgyrn: y maent yn tremio ac yn edrych arnaf.

18 Y maent yn rhannu fy nillad yn eu mysg, ac ar fy ngwisg yn bwrw coelbren.

19 Ond tydi, Arglwydd, nac ymbellhâ: fy nghadernid, brysia I'm cynnorthwyo.

20 Gwared fy enaid rhag y cleddyf, fy unig enaid o fedd iant y ci.

21 Achub fi rhag safn y llew: canys o blith cyrn unicorniaid y'm gwrandewaist.

22 Mynegaf dy enw i'm brodyr: y'nghanol y gynnulleidfa y'th folaf.

23 Y rhai sy yn ofni'r Arglwydd, molwch ef; holl had Iacob, gogoneddwch ef; a holl had Israel, ofnwch ef.

24 Canys ni ddirmygodd, ac ni ffieiddiodd gystudd y tlawd; ac ni chuddiodd ei wyneb rhagddo: ond pan lefodd efe arno, efe a wrandawodd.

25 Fy mawl sydd o honot ti

17 They pierced my hands and my feet; I may tell all my bones they stand staring and looking upon me.

18 They part my garments among them: and cast lots upon my vesture.

19 But be not thou far from me, O Lord: thou art my succour, haste thee to help me.

20 Deliver my soul from the sword: my darling from the power of the dog.

21 Save me from the lion's mouth: thou hast heard me also from among the horns of the unicorns.

22 I will declare thy Name unto my brethren in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23 O praise the Lord, ye that fear him: magnify him, all ye of the seed of Jacob, and fear him, all ye seed of Israel;

24 For he hath not despised, nor abhorred, the low estate of the poor: he hath not hid his face from him, but when he called unto him he heard him.

26 The poor shall eat, and be satisfied: they that seek after the Lord shall praise him; your heart shall live for ever.

27 All the ends of the world shall remember themselves, and be turned unto the Lord and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before him.

28 For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the Governour among the people.

29 All such as be fat upon earth: have eaten, and worshipped.

30 All they that go down into the dust shall kneel before him and no man hath quickened his own soul.

31 My seed shall serve him : they shall be counted unto the Lord for a generation.

32 They shall come, and the heavens shall declare his righteousness: unto a people that shall be born, whom the Lord' hath made.

Psal. xxiii. Dominus regit me.

YR Arglwydd yw fy mugail; THE Lord is my shepherd:

ni bydd eisiau arnaf.

2 Efe a wna im' orwedd mewn porfeydd gwelltog: efe a'm tywys ger llaw'r dyfroedd tawel.

3 Efe a ddychwel fy enaid: efe a'm harwain ar hyd llwybrau cyfiawnder er mwyn ei Enw.

4 Ië, pe rhodiwn ar hŷd glyn cysgod angau, nid ofnaf niwaid: canys yr wyt ti gydâ mi; dy wïalen a'th ffon a'm cysur

3 He shall convert my soul: and bring me forth in the paths of righteousness, for his Name's

sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff comfort me.

5 Thou shalt prepare a table before me against them that trouble me: thou hast anointed my head with oil, and my cup shall be full.

BOREOL WEDDI

Psal. xxiv. Domini est terra.

IDDO'r Arglwydd y ddaear, a'i chyflawnder; y byd, ac a breswylia ynddo.

2 Canys efe a'i seiliodd ar y moroedd, ac a'i sicrhâodd ar yr afonydd.

3 Pwy a esgyn i fynydd yr Arglwydd? a phwy a saif yn ei le sanctaidd ef?

4 Y glân ei ddwylaw, a'r pur ei galon; yr hwn ni ddyrchafodd ei feddwl at wagedd, ac ni thyngodd i dwyllo.

5 Efe a dderbyn fendith gan yr Arglwydd, a chyfiawnder gan Dduw ei iachawdwriaeth.

6 Dyma genhedlaeth y rhai a'i ceisiant ef, y rhai a geisiant dy wyneb di, O Iacob.

7 O byrth, dyrchefwch eich pennau ; ac ymddyrchefwch, ddrysau tragywyddol; a Brenhin y gogoniant a ddaw i mewn. 8 Pwy yw'r Brenhin gogoniant hwn? yr Arglwydd nerthol a chadarn, yr Arglwydd cadarn mewn rhyfel.

9 O byrth, dyrchefwch eich pennau ; ac ymddyrchefwch ddrysau tragywyddol; a Brenhin y gogoniant a ddaw i mewn. 10 Pwy yw'r Brenhin gogoniant hwn? Arglwydd y lluoedd, efe yw Brenhin y gogoniant.

3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord or who shall rise up in his holy place?

4 Even he that hath clean hands, and a pure heart and that hath not lift up his mind unto vanity, nor sworn to deceive his neighbour.

5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 This is the generation of them that seek him even of them that seek thy face, O Jacob.

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors and the King of glory shall come in.

8 Who is the King of glory: it is the Lord strong and mighty, even the Lord mighty in

battle.
