OH, glorious Nature! thou art sure to please
In every clime: thy hills, thy vales, thy seas
Are full of wonder, majesty, and Thee,
Divine Creator. Thus I bend the knee
To thy fair temples-Earth, Sky, Ocean, Air-
Go where we will Omnipotence is there!
The blazing lightning's fork'd and lurid flash,
The bursting thunder's deep-toned rattling crash;
The storms careering through the murky air,
Or golden sunshine calmly sleeping there;
The wild waves playing in their stormy mirth,
The "big rain" dancing to the thirsty earth;
