Da. ii. 44. I saw in the night visions; and behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. Re. xix. 6. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them; and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Re. xx. 4. Thy will be done.] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Mat. vii. 21. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. John vii. 17. He (the Lord) raised up unto "them" (his "people Israel") David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony (said Paul), and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. As it is in heaven.] Thou art the Lord, the God (said the Levites in the solemn fast and repentance), the host of heaven worshippeth thee. Ne. ix. 6. The Lord hath prepared his throne in heaven, and his kingdom ruleth over all: bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word: bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his that do his pleasure. Ps. ciii. 19, 20, 21. He (the Lord) doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? Da. iv. 35. Are they not all (the angels) ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? He. i. 14.

11 Us this day.] It is written (said Jesus to Satan), Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Mat. iv. 4. This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded; Gather of "it" ("the bread," which the Lord had given them to eat) every man according to his eating: let no man leave it till the morning. Six days ye shall gather it, but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, in it there shall be none. And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna, and it was like coriander seed, white, and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey. And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the Lord to be kept for your generations. And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited. They did eat manna until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan. Ex. xvi.

But my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven for the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John vi. 31-35. Now them that are such, we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. 2 The. iii. 12. 12 Forgive us.] The Lord passed by before him (Moses), and proclaimed, The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, and transgression, and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty: visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. xxxiv. 7. Hearken thou (said Solomon in Ex. prayer) to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and when thou hearest forgive. Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men). 13 Lead us not into temptation.] Watch and pray (said Jesus), that ye enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Mat. xxvi. 41. God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham. And he said, Behold, here I am. Ge. xxii. 1. Thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or no. And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know, that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. De. viii. 2, 3. Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not; that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end. And he was withdrawn from “them” (“his disciples") about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me; nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony, he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, and said unto them, Why sleep ye? Rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. Lu. xxii. 31-46. Lest "I" ("Paul") should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Co. xii. 7, 8, 9. These are they which came out of great tribulation (these which are arrayed in white robes), and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
