The Pharisee, who had bidden him, said, "This man, if a prophet, would have known who, and what man. ner of woman this is" &c. Jesus answering, said, "Simon, I have somewhat to say to thee." He saith, "Master, say on." Parable. "A certain creditor Matt. Mark. Luke. John. xii. iii. vii. 1 24-28 29 30. 31,32 133-35 36-39 - had two debtors; the one-owed five hundred pence, the other fifty when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave both; which will love him most" Simon answered, "He to whom he forgave most." Jesus said, "Thou hast rightly judged "Seest thou this woman? thou gavest me no water; she hath washed my feet with tears, &c. thou gavest me no kiss; she hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head, with oil, thou didst not anoint, this woman hath anointed my feet, &c. "Her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for, &c. to whom little forgiven, he loveth little "He said to her, Thy sins are forgiven thee " They said within themselves "Who is this that forgiveth sins also?" "He said to the woman, "Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace." Afterwards, Jesus went through every city and village, showing glad tidings of the kingdom of God; the twelve were with Matt. Mark.
