amongst Mankind, and what shall be the beginning of these?

First the Titans fhall be deftroy'd by God's appointment, and the Sons of strong Saturn fhall fuffer Punishment, because they bound Saturn and the chafte Mother of his Children. Then will be the small tyrannical States in Greece; after them the proud, fierce, impure Kings, who were adulterous and very wicked: And there fhall be no Reft to Men from Wars, and the stupid Phrygians fhall all be deftroy'd; and then fhall be the Deftruction of Troy; then fhall Mifchief come upon Affyria and Perfia, Libya and all Egypt and Ethiopia: And Calamities will come on the Carians and Pamphy→ lians, and all Men.

But why do I reckon them fingly? When the first Evils end, the next will follow: I will defcribe the first or chief.

The holy Men fhall fuffer Calamities who live about Solomon's Temple, who are the Children of Juft Men, and I will also celebrate their Tribes, and the Generation of their Fathers, and all the People I will declare to you, O fubtil Mortals! all things plainly, after a various manner.

Troy deftroy'd.

There is a City in the Land of Affyria The original from whence came the Generation of the History of the Jews, and their Just Men, who always took good Counfels Religion. and did good Works: They are not folicitous about the Circular Motion of the Sun, nor of the Moon, nor other Works wonderful on the Earth, nor fearch the depth of

But when the People of the twelve Tribes, with their Leaders fent from God,

fhall leave Ægypt, and travel pleasantly, marching in the Night by the direction of a Pillar of Fire, and a Cloud like a Pillar leading them by Day: God fhall make Mofes their Leader, a Man of Renown, whom the Queen found near the Fenns, and took him up, and nurfed him, and call'd him her Son. He leading the People whom God brought out of Agypt to Mount Sinai, God there gave the Law from Heaven, writing all his juft Precepts in two Tables; and he commanded them to obferve 'em ; and if any disobey'd, he was punish'd according to the Law, and by human Hands; but if his Offence was unknown to Men, he was destroy'd by all forts of Judgments. God hath made the Earth common to all, and Faith and good Thoughts are put into our Souls; for these alone the fertile Earth produces Fruit, from one to an hundred, God giving it its measure. But Calamities fhall befal the Jews, and they fhall not escape the Plagues. And thou leaving the beautiful Temple, fhalt fly; for it is determined that thou shalt leave the Holy Land: And you fhall be led into Affyria, and you shall fee your young Children ferve cruel Men; and your Wives alfo, and all your Provifions and Riches, fhall be deftroy'd. All Countries fhall be fill'd with you, and every Sea, and all Nations will hate thy Manners and Customs. All the Land fhall be Defart to thee, and the Altars prohibited and defended against thee, and the Temple of the

Nor have you fear'd the immortal Father of the Gods, and of Men; and thou wouldst not honour him, but haft worship'd the Images of mortal Men. For thefe things thy fruitful Land fhall become a Defart to thee feventy Years, and so fhall thy wonderful Temple; but the End fhall be for good and great Glory, as God fhall perfect it, and a Mortal (Cyrus); but do you remember and believe the pure Laws of the great God, when he fhall lift up ftreight your weary Knees into a place of Light.

Then God fhall fend from Heaven a King, and he fhall prove every Man by Blood and burning Fire; but there shall be one Royal Tribe, whofe Generation is unblamable, and this fhall rule in future Ages, and begin to build a new Temple for God; and all the Perfian Kings fhall bestow Gold, and Brafs, and Iron, which is capable of much work; for God fhall give him in the This Dream is Night a holy Dream, and then the Temple hot mention'd in fhall again be built as it was formerly. When my Mind had ceas'd from delivering this Prophecy in Verfe, and I had entreated the great Father to ceafe from forcing me, the Voice of the great God came again into my Soul, and commanded me to prophecy thro' every Country, and to tell Kings what should come to pafs hereafter.
