I have quoted this Defcription to fhew, that thefe Prophefies agree very much in the defcription of Gog's Overthrow; but the Sibyl's do not mention Gog, nor many circumstances in Ezekiel.

As Chrift and his Apoftles permitted the ufe of the Jewish Ceremonies till the Deftruction of their Temple by the Romans, fo 'twill happen at laft, the Jews will return, build their Temple, and ufe their old Ceremonies, till this fignal coming of Christ to deftroy the Turks, and his appearing in the Air fhall convert 'em: No Preaching nor Miracles could formerly convince 'em, but this glorious fecond coming will prevail'; and this will require their being fettled in

their own Country, that they may be all convinc'd at one time, and then the Fulnefs of the Gentiles fhall come in, they being all converted by this fecond coming of Chrift to conquer them; and then both Jews and Gentiles will be oblig'd to keep the Feast of Tabernacles, which the Jews did at their first return from Ægypt.

The Defcription of the Millennium by the Old Prophets.

Note, The Son of Man is Chrift, the Saints of the Most High are Believers in him, and all Dominions shall serve and obey him, and he shall then raife the Dead,

Ch. 12, ver. 12. Bleffed is he that cometh to the 1335 days. [i.e. the beginning of the Millennium, from the taking of Jerufalem by the Nations, Zech. 14.]

Daniel fhall arife, and have fhare with his own Tribe, as Ezekiel has defcrib'd the divifion among the 12 Tribes.]

Ifaiah, ch. 26, ver. 19. Thy dead Men fhall live, together with my dead body hall they arife: awake, and fing, ye that dwell in the Duft.

Note, There will be a new Paradifiacal state of Men, and all other Creatures.

Chap. 60, ver. 1. Arife, fhine, for thy light is come, and the Glory of the Lord is rifen on thee. Ver. 3. And the Gentiles fhall come to thy light, and Kings to the brightness of thy rifing. Ver. 11. Therefore thy Gates shall be open continually, they shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring unto thee the Forces of the Gentiles, and that their Kings may be brought. Ver. 12. For the Nation and Kingdom that will not ferve thee fall perish. Ver. 19. The Sun Shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness fall the Moon give light to thee, but the Lord fhall be unto thee an everlasting Light, Ver. 21. Note, Thefe Waters are mention'd by Ezekiel and Zechariah, and may only fignifie Plenty, or be the cause of the fertility of the Land.

Ifaiah, Ch. 24, Ver. 23. Then the Moon fhall be confounded, and the Sun afhamed, when the Lord of Hofts fhall reign in Mount Sion, and in Jerufalem.

Ultima fanctorum funt tempora, namq; ea condit Altitonans, opifex templi super omnia magni.

He that will read thefe Quotations from the old Prophets, Efdras, Revelations, and Sibyls, will acknowledg the Jews muft return into their Country to build their City and Temple, and then will be befieg'd by Gog, who will there be deftroy'd by Thunder: Then the Jews, and many Gentiles, fhall be converted to Christianity by this signal Judgment on Gog, and the appearance of Chrift crucified, but afterwards the Gentiles will again take Jerufalem, (as in Zech. ch.ult.) but shall at last be destroy'd by Chrift itanding in Mount Sion, by the Earthquake, by a Plague, and by the Sword; then shall Chrift come with all his Saints, be King over the Earth, and all Nations fhall come up to worship him.

This is the Senfe of all the Prophets compar'd together, and they have been very little understood by those who fuppos'd they related only to the Times before Chrift; by what is quoted they have plainly defcrib'd the laft Times, fince Chrift, viz. the Return of the Jews, the Destruction of Antichrift, and State of the Millennium. That I may more fully prove this, I will give my Interpretation of Dan. 11, 12. which plainly relate to the Turk, as King of the North; and the Saracen, King of the South They at laft agreed in one false Religion and tyrannical Government, which is the Antichrift intimated by all the Prophets. No other Hiftory has yet happen'd agreeable with the Prophefies but that of the Saracens and Turks, Daniel's little Horn. And fince the Miseries of the Jews under the Mahometans have been greater and longer than those under Antiochus and the Romans, 'tis very probable Daniel spoke of thefe, to convince the Infidelity of this Age, that GOD governs the World; that He pre-ordain'd all Events, and by his infpired Prophets predicts 'em.
