Ver. 5. Afterwards fhall the Children of Ifrael return, and feek the Lord their God, and David their King, and shall fear the Lord and his Goodness in the latter days.

Hof. chap.14. ver. 7. They that dwell under his Shadow shall return, they shall revive as the Corn, and grow up as the Vine.

Ver. 8. Ephraim fhall fay, What have I more to do with Idols? The Name Ephraim belongs to the ten Tribes, and not to Judah.

Amos, chap. 9, prophesied against Samaria, and when he had threaten'd its Destruction, ver. 8, he fays, I will not utterly deftroy the Houfe of Jacob, faith the Lord.

Ver. 10. All the Sinners of my People Shall die by the Sword.

- Ver. 11. In that day will I raise up the Tabernacle of David that is fallen. And I

will build it as in the days of old.

Ver. 14. And I will bring again the Captivity of my People Ifrael, and they shall build the wafte Cities and inhabit them.

Ver. 15. And I will plant them on their Land, and they shall be no more pull'd up out of the Land which I have given them, faith the Lord thy God.

After Joel had declar'd the Time of the Meffiah, in Chap. 3. ver. 1, he fays, In that time when I fhall bring again the Captivity of Judah and Jerufalem. Ver. 2. I will gather all Nations in the Valley of Jehofaphat, and

plead with them there for my People, and for my Heritage Ifrael, whom they have scatter'd amongst the Nations, and parted my Land. Ver. 16. The Lord will be the hope of his People, and the Strength of the Children of Ifrael. Ver. 17. Then fhall Jerufalem be holy, and no Stranger (Invader) fhall pass thro' her any

Micah, ch. 5. ver. 3. Then the remnant of his Brethren fhall return unto the House of Ifrael.

Note, That Micah before this spoke of Chrift's Birth at Bethlehem; and after this, prophefies of his conquering Gog.

Obadiah is of the fame Age as Hofea, Joel, Amos, or that of Jeremiah and Ezekiel.

Obad. ver. 19. They shall poffefs the Fields of Ephraim, and Benjamin fhall poffefs Gilead. Ver. 20. And the Captivity of this Hoft of the Children of Ifrael fhall poffefs that of the Canaanites, even to Sarepta, and the Captivity of Jerufalem, which is in Sapharad, shall poffefs the Cities of the South. Ver. 21. And the Kingdom fhall be the Lord's. This is in the Millennium.

Zephaniah was in the days of Jofiah, ch. 3. ver. 20. At that time I will bring you again; When I turn back your Captivity before your Eyes. Ver. 14. The Perfons that are to be deliver❜d are noted thus: Sing, O Daughter of Sion, fhout, O Ifrael.

Ifaiah, Chap. 10, firft foretells the Deftruction of Ifrael, Judah, and the Affyrians, who deftroy'd Samaria and Ephraim. U 3

Chap. 11. He comforts Ifrael by promi fing their Return from their Captivity. Ver. 11. The Lord will fet his Hand a fecond time to recover the Remnant of his People from Affyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cufh, and from Elam, and from Hamath, and from the Islands of the Sea; ver. 12, and from the four Corners of the Earth. Ver. 13, Ephraim fhall not envy Judah, and Judah fhall not vex Ephraim. By this the twelve Tribes are defcrib'd. Ver. 16. And there fhall be an highway for the Remnant of his People.

Ifaiah, chap. 27. ver. 13. The great Trumpet fhall be blown, and they shall come who were ready to perish.

Ver. 12. Te shall come one by one of you, ọ House of Ifrael.

Ver. 6. Ifrael fhail bloffom and bud.

All this must be after the Destruction of Leviathan, (or Antichrift, the Turk) ver. 1.

Ifa. chap. 43. ver. 6. I will fay to the North, Give up; and to the South, Keep not back: Bring my Sons from far, and my Daughters from the ends of the Earth; from the East and Weft, v.5. Ver. 1. This is fpoke of Jacob and Ifrael. Ver. 7, of every one that is call'd by my Name.

Ifa. chap. 66. ver. 20. And they shall bring all your Brethren, out of all Nations, upon Horfes, and in Chariots, to my Holy Mountain Jerufalem.

Fer. chap. 30. ver. 3. I will bring again the Captivity of Ifrael and Judah, faith the Lord: I will caufe them to return to the Land that I gave to their Fathers, and they fball poffefs it.

Ver.6. The Watchmen upon Mount Ephraim fhall cry, Arife ye, and let us go up to Sion. Ver. 8. Behold, I will bring them from the North Country, and gather them from the Confts: of the Earth.

Ver. 9. I am a Father to Ifrael; and Ephraim is my first-born...

Ver. 18. I have heard Ephraim bemoaning himself, -turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the Lord my God. Ver. 20. Is Ephraim my dear Son ?

I will furely have Mercy on him, faith the Lord.

Ver. 21. Set thee up way-marks, an -turn again to thefe thy Cities.

Nate, Since the ten Tribes are always defcrib'd by Ephraim, this Chapter is a clear Prophesy of their Return.

Daniel, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel prophefied in the time of Judah's Captivity.

Dan. 12. ver. 1. And at that time thy People fhall be deliver❜d.

Ver. 7. When he fhall accomplish to featter (finish the difperfion) the Power of the holy People, all thofe things fhall be finished; (that is, the destruction of Antichrift mention'd in Chap. 11.)

Ezekiel chap. 37. ver. 11. These Bones are the whole Houfe of Ifrael.

Ver. 12. I will open your Graves, and bring you into the Land of Ifrael.

Ver. 16. The Stick of Judah and Ephraim. Ver. 17. Foyn them together into one Stick. Ver. 41. I will take the Children of Ifrael from among the Heathen, and bring them into

their own Land.

Ver. 22. And make them one Nation upon the Mountains of Ifrael, and one King fhall be King to them all.

Ver. 24. And David my Servant fhall be over them.

Ver. 26. I will make a Covenant of Peace with them; it fhall be an everlasting Covenant, and Iwill fet my Sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. Ver. 27, 28.

Ezek. ch. 39, ver. 25. Now will I bring gain the Captivity of Jacob, and have mercy on the whole House of Ifrael.

Note, The two Sticks represent the twelve Tribes, who must return, and then be govern'd by a King. And Chap. 38, God must come after their Return, ver. 8, In the latter days thou shalt come into the Land that is brought back from the Sword, and is gathered out of many People.

Note farther, That after the Jews return, they fhall have a Sanctuary for their old Service, and that Sanctuary and Altar are measur'd, chap. 40. The Ceremonies of Circumcifion, obferving the Sabaoth and New Moons, are defcrib'd in the following Chapter.

Ezek. 47, ver. 15. This fhall be the Border whereby you fhall inherit the Land, according to the twelve Tribes of Ifrael. Chap. 48. is a full Defcription how Judea must be di
