Men. In his time, and those that follow'd him, the Turkish Empire arriv'd to its greatest state; but when the Jews return'd from Perfia, it was moft evidently funk; and the first step of its great Declension was with a Plague.

The Trumpet fhall no more give its found for bloody Wars, neither shall their Enemies be destroy'd by furious Armies, for in that Age all Evils fhall ceafe, as if Trophies were fet пр for the Conquefts of them: Then one excellent Man fhall come from Heaven, who diftended his Arms upon the fruitful Tree, the best of the Jews, who formerly ftopt the Sun, crying with excellent Difcourfe from his pure Lips :

Note, That when the Jews return there will be a peaceable time, in which they shall build their Wall of their City as far as Foppa, which is abour 30 miles from Jerufalem; and from Joppa it is vifible. The Perfon who speaks is Jefus Chrift, as appears by his Crucifixion here intimated; and by his Power the Sun was ftopt in Foshua's days, who formerly led the Jews into Canaan; and 'tis Chrift who now brings them back, and speaks to them as follows.
