I highly recommend this book. It's not easy because the author brings something we all know into our minds in a subtle yet vivid way.

This is definitely an interesting book. It goes all over the place in looking at hunger. The physiology is important, but I tended to get lost in those portions. The aspects about hunger's relation to religion and to suffering were the most interesting to me.
