Why then fhould People make fuch a Rout about Dying, when 'tis the ready Road to a State of Immortality? The Agonies and Convulfions in the Article of Expiring, are over in a Trice, and then come the most refin'd and improv❜d Conceptions And this is a Confideration, which the earlier we begin to press home upon ourselves, the more effectually we fhall find it conduce to the vanquishing all our Fears and Apprehenfions of Death; and, 'till that Point is gained, a Man's Life must be very uncomfortable to him: For we all know full well, that die we muft, fome Time or other, and, for aught we know, before to-morrow Morning. Confequently we can never bear up briskly, and fet a good Face upon it, fo long as we are Hag-ridden with the Horror of a Change, which may poffibly overtake us the next Minute. A wife Man is ever
